Bob Myers was a middle school social studies and language arts teacher at Barstow for 23 years before becoming the principal in 2023. He is originally from Hartford, VT, and graduated from The University of Vermont where he played baseball. Over the years, Bob has coached football, basketball, and baseball at Barstow, Rutland High School, and Woodstock High School. In his spare time he loves to participate in obstacle races, attend his kids' school and sporting events, read great historical fiction novels, or spoil a good walk on a golf course. As the proud principal of Barstow Memorial School he hopes to help lead his amazing faculty and staff in creating an environment where every student feels valued, challenged and encouraged.
